Your Dua Reminder

When someone fell ill, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would gently recite this dua — affirming that all healing comes from Allah alone. This dua calls upon Allah by His beautiful name Ash-Shāfī — The Ultimate Healer — acknowledging that while medicine treats, only Allah truly heals.

The Prophet ﷺ would place his hand on the person who was unwell and say:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Allāhumma Rabban-nās, adhhib al-ba’s, washfi anta ash-Shāfī, lā shifā’a illā shifā’uka, shifā’an lā yughadiru saqaman

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves behind no illness.
