“Hear Me with Fire” is a bold Japanese kocha (black tea) slowly smoked over repurposed whiskey barrels, imparting a deep, resonant character that is both powerful and contemplative. The leaves yield a dark amber infusion layered with notes of warm oak, gentle smoke, toasted grain, and faint sweetness reminiscent of caramelized wood and distant hearth fires.

This tea draws inspiration from the dramatic encounter of Elijah on Mount Carmel, recorded in the story of the First Book of Kings. In that moment of trial and prayer, Elijah calls upon the Lord with the words: “Answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people may know…”—and Heaven responds with fire.
