DESIGNED BY THE MILITARY

This iconic strap was originally handmade by French Marine Nationale combat divers in the 1970’s. The resourceful frogmen fashioned straps from used parachutes by recovering the elastic webbing to sew them back on and adapt them to their diver watches. For years, this type of strap has remained purely military, nowadays it’s a great alternative to NATO straps.

The unique single pass design offers the security of a regular NATO strap but wears slimmer on the wrist as only one layer of elastic goes under the watch head.

The Marine Nationale parachute strap in black elastic fabric with golden centerline was designed for the Navygraf Bronze model of the Submarine Forces but is adaptable to all our models with a lug width of 19mm.

Engraved with Marine Nationale’s official logo and made in brushed IP bronze, the buckle is slim but strong enough to stand up to wear and tear.
