One of the main features of the Sandhill's superior performance is our Air-Vent wire frame suspension. The pack hangs on a frame of steel wire, thin (thus light) but strong. The 3D shape of the frame and spring-steel construction stretches the mesh backing taut.

The thing you might appreciate the most is how comfortable the mesh backing is against your back. It distributes the load evenly and it vents heat like a breeze when the mid-summer sun is beating down.

Tool loops for everything from an ice axe to a tripod leg. Extra lashing straps on the bottom make it easy to carry something extra, like an inflatable sleeping mat.

Extendable top lid lets you easily extend the main compartment to carry a little bit more just for the sake of comfort in camp.
