Water level and daily care

Looking after the finish

Winter storage

How is it different from the broken barrel version?

This one is a working water station with three intact barrels and a brick base, and it is taller. The broken barrel piece is smaller and its central barrel is cracked with water seeping through the staves, which tells a story about age and wear rather than about function. Choose this for the fuller composition and that one for the narrative detail.

Is the wood real?

No, it is resin with a wood grain finish. Real timber in constant contact with water splits, greys, and eventually rots. Resin holds the texture indefinitely, and at a few feet the barrel staves and hoops read as weathered wood.

Is it safe around children and pets?
