What Makes This Fountain Different

Setup and placement

Fill it, plug it in, done. No plumbing and nothing to bury. One person can carry it at 16.5 pounds.

Set it level and face the split toward where people sit or pass. From behind or the side you see a plain trunk, and the whole point of the piece is the opening.

Wind and stability

At 16.5 pounds and nearly forty inches this is light for its height. Place it against a wall, a fence, or within planting rather than free standing in an open windy position, and keep it out of the route where someone could walk into it.

Water level and daily care

Keep enough water in the base to cover the pump so it never runs dry. The interior pools are small and the base is narrow, so the level drops faster than on a wide fountain. Check every few days in warm weather.

Clear debris from the interior pools. A blockage inside the trunk is harder to spot than one on an open ledge, so look into the split rather than just listening.

Winter storage

Before hard freezes, drain the base and every interior pool completely, disconnect and store the pump indoors, and dry the piece out. At 16.5 pounds bringing it inside is easy and is the safest option.
