HVAC Diffuser Installation Guidelines

1) Ensure Active Airflow
For optimal diffusion, the HVAC system must be operating—either the AC or blower fan must be turned on. If the system is off, the aroma mist will remain in the ductwork and fail to disperse into the intended space. Prolonged diffuser operation without active airflow may cause scent accumulation within the ducts, leading to potential damage to the diffuser or air handler system.

HVAC-based installations generally require 5-10% higher intensity settings compared to standalone diffuser setups. This is due to the extended volume of ductwork the aroma must travel through, which can result in minor diffusion loss. Install the diffuser in a location with adequate clearance near the air ducts, ensuring convenient access and maintenance.
