My new rose is nomadic because it has populated all continents. Imagined as a spirit, one could say it continues to travel. Roses, as a species, have sailed the Aegean and the Adriatic. Hidden as a precious treasure, it sailed from the Far East - it wasn't allowed to leave China - and also crossed the Black Sea. It starred in Tudor gardens, it invaded the domain of white flowers, and intoxicated Paris. It is said to be the first documented flower to cross the Atlantic Ocean during the Age of Discovery, and it is the most widely cultivated ornamental flower worldwide.
My rose travels dressed in exotic woods, resins, and spices. As it enrobes authentic oud oil, it manifests a powerful feminine character, becoming a heady, sensually decadent floral oriental. And so everyone has been bewitched by her since her inception in 2019.
I reformulated it several times, but only recently did I acquire a new wild oud from Cambodia that gave it the final touch, so here it is for everyone to enjoy. The faint blush color is natural because the ingredients are blended in their natural state.
