Altara Sculpted Solid Wood Floating Shelf SPA593958

Design & Style

The Altara Floating Shelf is designed as a bold sculptural wall element that transforms natural wood into a flowing architectural feature. Defined by its dramatic wave-like profile and substantial slab form, the shelf introduces movement, depth, and warmth into modern interiors.

Its organic curvature creates a continuous visual flow across the wall, allowing the natural wood grain to travel seamlessly along the sculpted surface. The result is a shelf that feels dynamic yet balanced, where the material itself becomes the focal point of the design.

Altara reflects a Sculptural Organic Modern aesthetic, blending natural craftsmanship with contemporary minimalism. When installed in a layered arrangement, the shelves form a rhythmic composition that brings both structure and softness to the wall, turning everyday storage into an expressive design statement.

Material & Craftsmanship

Altara is handcrafted from carefully selected solid hardwood slabs chosen for their dramatic grain patterns and rich tonal variation. Each shelf is individually sculpted and shaped by skilled artisans to achieve the flowing carved form that defines the design.

The wood surface is meticulously hand-sanded and hand-finished to enhance the depth, warmth, and natural movement within the grain. This finishing process highlights the unique character of the wood while preserving its authentic texture.

No veneers, engineered wood, or composite materials are used. Every Altara shelf is constructed entirely from solid wood, ensuring long-lasting durability and a genuine handcrafted presence. Because each slab carries its own grain pattern and natural characteristics, every shelf is uniquely one of a kind.
