Cenote Camo

A sun-bleached Brisa straw body banded in turquoise-dyed alligator — the color of light hitting deep water through limestone. Named for the cenotes, the flooded caves of the Yucatán where the line between earth and water disappears.

The body is hand-woven Brisa straw from Ecuador — Panama-style, light and open, worn quiet so the band can speak. That band is genuine alligator, hand-dyed in a living turquoise that shifts from sea-glass to deep lagoon depending on how the light falls. Camo in name only — this is not pattern, it is depth. A hat that reads neutral from across a room and reveals itself up close, the way the best things do.
