Dill Seed

A signature base note in pickling spices and seafood boils, dill has a flavor that is heady and strong. German foods frequently add seasoning from dill seed because the flavor is strong enough to stand up to bratwurst and beer, and the Russians and Poles like a dose in their filling soups and stews.
