(Events) King Silk Quilt

This pink, hand-stitched Patchwork Silk Kantha Quilt is made from previously used silk saris on the front and solid black cotton on the back. The patches are sewn together and then hand kantha stitched by women in India who are working to rise out of poverty. It's embroidered with thousands of tiny stitches and dozens of different fabrics to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind patchwork quilt. 

• These are supposed to be all silk on the front, but a few squares are a blend of silk & polyester. 
• Approximately 180" x 90" - Queen Size
• Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle or hand wash. Tumble dry. During the first 2 washes the cotton back might bleed, so it should be washed separate.
