Set it against a wall or a fence. This is a flat panel with a lit face, so it is designed to be seen from the front and it needs something solid behind it to lean the effect against.
Wind and the flat panel
A tall flat surface catches wind on the face, and the water runs in thin exposed streams that a breeze will move. Place it in a sheltered position against a wall rather than free standing in an open spot.
Water level and daily care
Keep enough water in the base trough to cover the pump so it never runs dry. Thin exposed streams lose water to drift, so check every few days in warm weather.
Keep the tubes clear. A blocked tube stops one of only four streams, which is immediately obvious on a piece this symmetrical.
Looking after powder coated metal
Wipe the panel with a soft cloth and avoid abrasives, which will mark a powder coat. Check the cut edges for chips each spring, since exposed metal at a cut edge is where corrosion starts. In hard water areas mineral deposits show clearly on a flat coated surface, so clean the wet lines before they set.
Winter storage
Before hard freezes, drain the base trough completely, disconnect and store the pump indoors, and dry the piece out. Water left in the tubes through a freeze can split them, so make sure they run empty.

Is the pattern cut through or printed?
Cut all the way through the metal. That is why it can be backlit and why the piece looks completely different after dark. A printed pattern would vanish at night.
Can it screen a view?
Partly. The panel is solid apart from the cutwork, so it interrupts a sightline while still passing light and glimpses through the leaf shapes. It is not a privacy screen but it does break up what is behind it.
Where does it belong?
Modern courtyards, terraces, a brick or rendered wall, a contemporary planting scheme. Because it is metal rather than faux stone it sits with architecture rather than with rockery. In a cottage garden it will read as imported from a different scheme.
Is it safe around children and pets?
The cut edges of a metal panel should not be handled by children, and a tall flat piece can be pushed over. Place it against a wall, out of the main running route, on a hard level surface. Run the cord where it will not catch a foot. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
