Plaka Duet

Named for the old square at the center of Athens, where everything meets. Plaka Duet is a flat-top in bi-color straw — natural and moss green — architectural and easy at once. A hat with a horizon line built into it.

The body is hand-woven Brisa straw from Ecuador — Panama-style, blocked to a clean flat top. Natural straw meets a soft moss green in a bi-color duet, two tones holding a single shape. The flat crown gives it structure; the color keeps it from ever feeling severe. Equal parts discipline and ease.
