Xezo Maestro® White Mother of Pearl Fountain Pen (Fine Nib) - Chrome Plated

This fountain pen features a fine-point silky smooth, gold-plated stainless steel nib. The line width is approximately 0.35 mm. Shiny chrome-plated brass fittings adorn this handmade pen.

This pen features natural, oceanic origin, Grade AAA oceanic white mother of pearl. Long panels of this precious material were carefully measured, cut, placed, and polished by hand to create a perfectly smooth and seamless round surface. This intensive polishing process shows off the nacre's deep vibrancy and iridescence naturally, with no clear coat or other finish applied. A shimmering array of various colors and hues can be seen shifting on this pen’s body in the light.

While some makers produce pens with small pieces of mother of pearl, we at Xezo believe that the difficulty and cost it takes to use oceanic mother of pearl of this size and quality creates a stunning effect that is well worth all the work it involves. We use mother of pearl with a hardness of 4.5 on the Mohs scale (as hard as steel).
Mother of pearl is a natural material, and every panel is unique. The pen barrel is round and smooth. Due to this, some distinctions in the colors and textures in these pens may occur, helping make your pen one of a kind.
